High: Honestly July was a sort of boring month that truly had the highest highs and the lowest lows! Two highs were meeting my bestie’s new baby. This can always be a sad and happy thing for me but I just love snuggling a new baby and feeling them fall asleep in my arms! Nothing makes me happier! Secondly, I legitimately thought it was a scam when someone reached out from the Obama Foundation and asked me if I wanted to be a part of a book discussion roundtable where we would talk about Obama’s Summer reading list! I in no way felt worthy but I did feel like it was the culmination of everything that I’ve been doing online for so long!
Low: Missing the biggest opportunity of my life. The event came together very quickly so my flight was booked two days before I had to be there. Even when we were booking the flight, flights were being canceled before we could finish the purchase. This should have been my first inclination that shit wasn’t going to go down like I thought. Even sitting on the plane for two hours, I still had so much hope that nothing could keep me from doing this. I am still crying about it.
Funniest moment: Penny screaming, “I ask my Mom if I can touch her nipples!” on a very crowded bus. What is wrong with this child?!?
Biggest cry: Definitely crying about missing the Obama event but I also sobbed pretty hard watching the live action Moana, TWICE. Even Steve got teary!
Proudest moment: I did a really fun podcast with my perimenopause doctor - Dr. Alicia Robbins and I typically do not lead the conversation when on a podcast so I was very proud of myself for doing it for almost an hour and not sounding like a complete idiot! I’ll link for y’all when it comes out!
Biggest seller: It was the Grow a Pair lash serum by far!!!! If you for some reason haven’t purchased it yet - use my code Ashley for 15% off and remember to apply it twice a day! This doesn’t have any proglastins in it so it will not change your eyelid color or eye color and it won’t get rid of the fat under your eyes! My eyelashes are currently so long that I’m going to have to stop using it!
Best purchases: I got a new vanity and storage closet from Wayfair and I’m actually obsessed with both!
